I'm excited to say that today I finally presented my thesis proposal to my RIT SOFA faculty panel and passed! "Catch" is a-go with no conditions, and I got plenty of good, constructive comments to get me inspired. I can't wait to get started on the next step in working through my design process for this film. Once again, I get the chance to challenge myself creatively and technically with my own personal project. This time around, I'll be dealing with two young sisters, and I want to focus primarily on the creation of their rigs and the development of their character animation.
I'll keep track of the process here among other miscellaneous art projects! It's amazing how the time has passed since I decided to study animation in my Junior year of High school... Well, only another year to go here at RIT, but of course I'll be a lifetime learner.
